In this series there is a recurring use of constructivist form, as well as the corporal blocking found in prehispanic sculptures of the human figure.

These are 'pastels' created by a sculptor who conceives form to be in calculated equilibrium with color. At the same time, the expressive nature of the human face with its mask-like simplicity is developed around each character's identity and indigenous origen.​
